Gavin says: a bad idea never stopped me!

March 5th, 2008

Gavin’s down with tidal power for SF, even if its not feasible, not economical, and not smart. He even told the Chron: “I dont care about the arguments against it”. As usual, Mayor Gavin Greenwash Newsom only cares about the fluff he will need to fill his fliers with when he runs for Governor. Why would he care if he bankrupts SF in the meanwhile.

Don’t even get us started on the deficit he is running with all of this re-election union buy offs and senior campaign staffers on payroll. No need to toss up perfectly good single malt scotch. eh?

Hillary Clinton and SF Voters agree: Gavin Newsom can’t deliver

February 17th, 2008

Hillary had two California campaign co-chairs: SF Mayor Gavin Newsom & LA Mayor Antionio Villaraigosa. She won California and LA, but Newsom failed to deliver SF.  Yup underdog Barack Obama, who was endorsed by all of the progressive SF Supes took SF.

Hillary saw, firsthand, what SF voters are just starting to learn according to a recent David Binder poll: Gavin Newsom is all talk (and money and hairgel).  The poll found that Newsom’s strong supporters are down from 42% to 25% and that voters are finally noticing that MUNI is getting worse, homelessness is worse, and homicides are out of control.

Gavin, you only won re-election because you were unopposed.  You will not get into the Governor’s Mansion unless you spend some time in SF fixing these issues.  People are starting to notice that nothing has happened in four years.

SF Shocker: Newsom steals from the homeless

February 12th, 2008

UPDATED: Amazingly Newsom’s new Director of Greenwashing, Wade Crowfoot is actually being paid with funds intended to hire a safety & training specialist for MUNI.  Remember that next time your Aunt Thelma gets run down by a bus.

How best to fund a relection campaign?  Run the costs through your budget for homeless programs.  Whatever doesn’t fit….well, steal it from MUNI.  Gavin Newsom, you are an asshole. Move on. Move out.  Go to Washington or Sacramento or where ever your Republican benefactors want to send you.

Dick.

Obama’s gonna go all the way! whooda thunk it!

February 6th, 2008

Unbelievably,  Obama beat Hillary yesterday. He won more states and more delegates (except that she might steal insider superdelegates at the convention… but thats another story) Never mind the fact that she had a two year headstart and was 25 points ahead only two weeks ago.  Better yet, Hillary had to loan her own campaign $5mm because she is running out of money.   Now is the time to jump in and make history.

Help Barack Obama get the message out:  make a donation to his campaign to make history!
